Lake Tobias
Mike's last day of school was June 11th. On June 12th, we (Yes, amazingly I went along!) traveled up to Lake Tobias with my mom and dad. We really like that park-it has lots of shade, it's not so big you have to rush to get through it in a day, and you really get up close and personal with the animals. Connor really liked the "big kitties."
I love being able to pet the zebras. This guy has his tongue sticking out! They have a reptile house where they explain all the animals. Hayden and Connor are petting a baby alligator.
The safari ride is really neat too. Sometimes the animals like to get on the bus!

Wow! We might have to try that place out sometime. It looks like a kids (and a kid at heart's) dream zoo!
We just went this past Saturday with Mike's parents. It is a lot of fun! So glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to do things like that again. It's a lot of walking and time out in the heat.
