BIG NEWS!

A little over three and a half years ago we decided we should start trying to get pregnant with Connor. We thought we would be pregnant in a few months, not a few years. Now that Connor is 19 months old, we thought we should start trying again and if it took a year, we would seek professional help again. Well, what a shock when we found out it worked the first time! We found out on April 14th. My due date will be around Dec. 18th. There's not a lot going on that time of year! Besides Christmas, it will also be the month that Mike graduates with his master's degree. The timing is also perfect because the worst part of morning sickness/kidney stones will most likely be during the summer when Mike will be around to help.

My boy (Hayden) is growing up

I wanted to post this on the night it happened cause I had one of those moments where I couldn't believe this big kid is my child! On Mon. April 9th, Hayden made two stepping stones-he started taking showers (he is like his father in that he takes long showers!), and he had his first piano lesson. We decided Mon. evening is the easiest to schedule one since there are no church activites that day. He has been so proud at what he has learned so far. He promised his Nanni (Mike's mom) that he would play "I am a Child of God" for his baptism (age 8).
